Chimney sweep quote — Beaverton, OR

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Beaverton's density of 4,935 people per square mile means many homes are situated closely. Licensed, insured pros serve every neighborhood in Beaverton. When licensed pros arrive, they'll first cover the floor and furniture in the work area with drop cloths to prevent soot and dust from spreading. They then access your fireplace or stove, often from the roof, using specialized brushes and rods to scrub the interior of the chimney flue. This process removes creosote buildup, which is a flammable residue that forms from burning wood. The pros also inspect the chimney for any structural issues or blockages, like bird nests or debris, that could pose a fire hazard or impede airflow. They clean out the firebox and damper, ensuring all components are clear and functioning correctly. After the sweeping is complete, they'll do a final check to confirm the flue is clear and the system is safe. You'll receive a report detailing the work done and any recommendations for maintenance or repairs. This attention to detail is crucial for the long-term health of your chimney system. What affects the price

The final cost for your chimney service depends on a few specific factors. We look at the total height of the chimney stack, the level of creosote buildup inside the flue, and whether you have a standard masonry fireplace or a prefabricated metal insert. If there are structural blockages like nests or excessive debris that require extra labor, that will also adjust the estimate. We avoid hidden fees, but every setup is unique, so we evaluate the condition of your liner and firebox upon inspection.
