Best chimney sweep — Beaverton, OR

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Beaverton, Oregon, contrasts with nearby Portland in its mix of older homes and newer constructions. Licensed, insured pros serve every neighborhood in Beaverton. When a pro arrives, they'll start by laying down drop cloths to protect your floors and furniture. They'll then use specialized brushes and vacuums to remove soot, creosote, and debris from the chimney flue. This process often involves working from the top down or the bottom up, depending on the chimney's design and accessibility. For older properties, pros might encounter more established creosote buildup, requiring a more thorough approach. Newer homes may have different venting systems that the specialist will identify. The job involves checking the damper for proper operation and ensuring it seals effectively when closed. They also inspect the smoke chamber and firebox for cracks or damage that could compromise safety. A visual inspection of the exterior of the chimney is usually part of the service. This detailed work ensures your chimney functions safely and efficiently throughout the year. One quick call gets you a free quote — no obligation. Same-day appointments are often available in Beaverton.

What affects the price

The final cost for your chimney service depends on a few specific factors. We look at the total height of the chimney stack, the level of creosote buildup inside the flue, and whether you have a standard masonry fireplace or a prefabricated metal insert. If there are structural blockages like nests or excessive debris that require extra labor, that will also adjust the estimate. We avoid hidden fees, but every setup is unique, so we evaluate the condition of your liner and firebox upon inspection.
