Chimney sweep companies near me — Everett, WA

Last updated: September 24, 2026

In Everett, Washington, the frequent rain and cooler temperatures mean fireplaces are often used, increasing the need for chimney maintenance. The cost of a chimney sweep can be influenced by the chimney's height and accessibility. For example, steep roof pitches or complex structures can require more time and specialized equipment. Licensed, insured pros start by thoroughly inspecting the chimney's exterior. They check for any damage to the masonry, cap, and flashing, which are crucial for preventing water intrusion. Inside, the primary task is removing soot and creosote, a flammable residue from burning wood. Specialized brushes and vacuums are used to ensure the flue is clean and clear. The technician also inspects the damper and firebox. They ensure these components are functioning correctly and safely. This meticulous process is vital for preventing chimney fires and ensuring efficient operation. Addressing these factors promptly prevents more costly repairs and keeps your home safe. Scheduling an appointment now ensures your fireplace is ready for use.

What affects the price

The final cost for your chimney service depends on a few specific factors. We look at the total height of the chimney stack, the level of creosote buildup inside the flue, and whether you have a standard masonry fireplace or a prefabricated metal insert. If there are structural blockages like nests or excessive debris that require extra labor, that will also adjust the estimate. We avoid hidden fees, but every setup is unique, so we evaluate the condition of your liner and firebox upon inspection.

About this service

When choosing a chimney sweep company, look for teams that offer comprehensive inspections alongside their cleaning services. A good company will document their findings and show you photos of the flue condition before and after the work is done. They handle everything from basic soot removal to identifying structural issues like missing mortar or damaged crowns. Keeping your chimney in good condition is a year-round job, so it is best to call before the first fire of the season.

Summer is the best time to inspect your chimney while the weather is clear. We can easily spot structural issues, loose mortar, or cap damage that might have gone unnoticed during the winter. Getting your chimney serviced now means you are fully prepared for the first cold snap of autumn. Give us a call to book your inspection.
